Another popular Japanese Kabocha. Hybrid variety which is a bit more prolific than its next relatives. Ebisu is the name of one of the gods of luck, the patron saint of fishermen and women and business people. Comparable with Sweet Mama, Delica is a little smaller and has darker flesh; 

Fruits: rounded but flattened, small bulging cork blossom base in button shape; Size (DxH): 16 - 23 cm x 9 - 13 cm; Flesh: dark yellow to orange; thick, firm; fine-grained, sweet, delicate taste of chestnut; excellent quality;
