This variety has its origin in the Ivory Coast, the fruits are highly decorative and can be used as red brillant fruits in bouquets of flowers and for table decoration. It resembles very much a small pumpkin. Surname: "Pumpkin on a stick"

Eggplants grow best in warm regions, in Central Europe even in the open. Plant outdoors middle of May, harvest fruits from end of August;
